We buy smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, servers and networking equipment from companies for the purposes of refurbishing and reselling or donating so that usable equipment doesn’t end up in landfills. We help companies get rid of their old, unwanted or  surplus computer equipment.

Your computer equipment may have outlived its usefulness in your organization, but may still have a ‘second-life’ left in it for those who can’t afford top-of-the-line new equipment. Asetos computers is a member of e-Waste Association of South Africa (eWASA) and can handle equipment disposal expertly. Our Asset Recovery and Asset Disposal Services will decommission your out of date equipment in a secure and sustainable way.

Due to risks involved in buying laptops from unknown sources, we no longer pay in advance for equipment from individual users. Instead, we sell on your behalf  for a small commission using the following procedure;

 

  1. You bring your item and ID copy to the store or send it by courier for evaluation, testing and signing of paper work;
  2. We advise you on the recommended selling price, our commission structure and applicable transaction processing fees including VAT;
  3. We list the item on our website, which syncs to other online market places;
  4. We transfer the agreed amount directly into your nominated account or pay out cash upon successful sale of the item.
